Luc Ter Bogt

Luc has been active in the tire industry for over 25 years. He worked as tire tread compounder with specialization on winter/AS tires and silica-silane chemistry. Thereafter he worked in tire production. Leaving the tire company, he joined Lanxess (Arlanxeo), being responsible for technical marketing of synthetic polymers. As of 2018 he is business development leader for Momentive's Advanced Tire&Rubber Silanes in EMEA and India.

New novel additives, greatly improving tire sustainability & performance

Momentive Tire&Rubber Silanes will present an update of its sustainability roadmap. The presentation will show the new reduced carbon footprint of its current in-market silanes. Also, laboratory and road performance tire data will be shared, to show how a new generation advanced silane can significantly reduce tire-use phase related emissions. Advanced silanes can have a significant impact on most of the tire life-cycle phases and help tire producers achieve their tire sustainability targets.
