Tire Technology Expo returned to its usual spring schedule in Hannover in 2023, and was of greater importance than ever. Show founder Tony Robinson, who launched the associated magazine, Tire Technology International, in 1993, says, “Thirty years after we launched the magazine, we have the privilege of running this expo for the 22nd time – and I think its significance is greater than ever.”

“As usual, this year was a veritable A-Z of the best of the best, with multiple unveilings of new technologies and scientific developments expected across the exhibition hall”

For 2023, the show incorporated some 220 exhibitors, plus the annual Tire Technology Expo Conference, with more than 130 speakers, held in conjunction with a series of short courses, including the 52nd University of Akron Tire Mechanics Course.

The Tire Technology International Awards for Innovation and Excellence were presented live during the event, recognizing key industry achievements over the past 12 months.

“All in all, if you’ll forgive the cliché, this really is a must-attend show that will draw in top people globally to discuss the present and future of tires,” concludes Robinson.
