See the latest monitoring technology to protect hydraulics in tire manufacturing
Parker Hannifin

At Tire Technology Expo 2022, Parker will promote two products that demonstrate the company’s ongoing commitment to the tire industry and its desire to create safe, sustainable engineering solutions.

The Service Master Connect is a strong diagnostic measuring device for mobile and stationary hydraulic applications. The Sentinel is an efficient, portable, fluid purification hydraulic protection unit designed to ‘stand guard’ over hydraulic systems 24/7 and increase productivity by eliminating moisture in the oil.

The Parker Service Master Connect has been designed to enable users to access an array of sensors used in hydraulic applications like those encountered in tire production. The unit has a robust design and an IP65 rating that provides comprehensive protection against moisture and dirt and is also shock absorbent, making the Service Master Connect suitable for operation within tire plants.

With a 7in illuminated color touch display for smooth, intuitive operation, the modular construction allows customized setups according to individual measurement and analysis needs. The unit’s multiple connections can compile, store, monitor and evaluate CANbus data and digital or analog sensor signals for pressure, temperature, volume flow frequencies, rotational speeds, particles, water in oil, volume and output.

The Parker Service Master Connect can measure and display up to 100 channels, making it suitable for complex diagnostic tasks. It can also be interfaced with CAN, CANopen, SAE J1939, analog, digital, frequency, wi-fi and Bluetooth LE depending on needs, allowing the desired measurements to be made quickly and safely.

The Sentinel takes fluid purification to a new level of dependability and efficiency within one affordable unit. Compact, lightweight, tough and versatile, the portable Sentinel is engineered to deliver results in any environment. With or without its optional laser detection particle counter, the self-contained Sentinel can detect water-contaminated hydraulic oils or transformer fluids from samples taken directly from hydraulic reservoirs, barrels, vehicles or oil storage tanks, and streamline the dehydration process.
