LTA and hot stamp marking capability within a single marking head

Micro-Poise Measurement Systems will introduce the AkroMark Duo at the expo, which it claims is the industry's first marker to offer LTA and hot stamp marking capability within a single marking head. The AkroMark Duo allows customers to easily shift between expensive LTA marking media to meet specific OE requirements and inexpensive HS media to meet all other marking requirements. Per customers' unique requirements, users can either have a dual LTA and hot stamp system, hot stamp only or an LTA-only marker configuration. The AkroMark Duo can mark various tires ranging from low-profile passenger tires to truck tires, based on grades determined by tire uniformity, dynamic balance and geometry final finish testing equipment.
The company’s AkroMark Duo offers effortless design flexibility with the ability to change from a four-color LTA marker to a four-color hot stamp marker by changing only the cassettes. The Duo also has a mix-and-match capability with up to four diverse cassettes per marking head. There is a simple clamp collar release for installation, and the tips can swivel to match tire contour. To complement the AkroMark Duo, Micro-Poise will also present new consumables, including superior hot foil and LTA dots.
