Ingo Kiefer

Ingo started his career in weaving technical textiles in 1982, working for 21 years at Synteen (a weaving and finishing mill) in Germany and US in different positions. He was a lecturer at the Swiss Textile College and Gatex in Germany for 9 years, head of sales at Bühler Yarns Switzerland and product manager for fabric inspection systems at Uster Technologies AG. Ingo has been in his current role since 2021.

As a supplier of visual inspection systems we will present the benefits of automated inspection during the weaving and dipping process, showing examples of installations on looms and dipping lines with the detection possibility of defects of different appearances. The presentation will also include how to analyze the defects with our tools and optimize production to minimize second quality.
