Christian Doering

Dr Doering graduated in chemistry from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2006 and received his PhD in chemistry from the University of Bayreuth, Germany, in 2009. Prior to joining Synthos, Dr Doering held various positions at Trinseo from 2010 to 2021. As an R&D lab leader, he is now responsible for Synthos' synthetic rubber R&D lab in Schkopau, Germany, which focuses on innovation and sustainable materials.

Bio-based and circular feedstocks for synthetic rubber

Synthos' presentation will focus on different ways to achieve sustainable composition of synthetic rubber materials, including on-purpose bio-butadiene, ISCC+ certified raw materials, and sustainable styrene approaches that enable quantifiable environmental benefits.
