Andreas Morbitzer

Andreas is the global key account manager for the tire industry within the Pepperl+Fuchs Group based in Mannheim, Germany. Besides focusing on customer relations in the tire industry, he drives new technical initiatives to provide integrated Sensorik 4.0 solutions. Prior to his current role, he was a member of the new business development department. Before joining Pepperl+Fuchs in 2014, he completed his education as an industrial engineer (MSc) and gained several years of practical experience in the automotive industry.

RFID – identification along the entire tire lifecycle

Products, systems, solutions and services from Pepperl+Fuchs are an integral part of new applications meeting the challenges of sustainability and increasing the efficiency of production. For the tire industry, RFID standards offer a wide range of new advantages, including the traceability of automated material flow, seamless tire identification along the entire product lifecycle and improving the circular economy of tires. This results in a higher competitiveness based on cost savings, increased quality and transparency. The presentation will include conceptual and practical solutions for the tire industry.
