Slab slitter launch

Tire Technology Expo 2019 will play host to the launch of Mondon’s new SLP-series slab slitter, which is designed for extruder feeding strips. The machine slices slabs collected on pallets into strips to be packed into containers or boxes. The strips are packed separately so that they can be connected at the extruder entry for a continuous feed.
The SLP-series features adjustable knives to accommodate a range of widths. Packing quantity, too, can be automatically adjusted. On request, the slab slitter can be fitted with options such as a metal detector and an automated quality control system.
