SENSIT will showcase its range of resistance thermocouple temperature sensors designed to ensure even dispersion of unvulcanised rubber during the mixing process.
Unvulcanized rubber behaves as viscoelastic liquid during processing, and a number of additives rely on temperature accuracy to ensure even dispersion during the mixing process.
The range of temperature sensors from SENSIT aid this mixing process, with sensors able to be adapted to meet the requirements of individual devices from different manufacturers.
The sensors are capable of capturing temperature ranges between -220°C to 1,200°C, and can be as small as 1mm in diameter. The new sensors are part of the company’s expanded product range, which includes humidity sensors, CO2 sensors, level sensors, flow sensors and optical and inductive sensors.
SENSIT’s temperature sensors are specifically designed for the measurement of temperature during the preparation of rubber mixtures, and as such, each sensor is highly resistant to the abrasive influence of rubber, plastics mixtures and vibration.
